The U14s had a super weekend of rugby playing Roscrea at home on Friday evening in a challenge and away to  Clanwilliam in the league on Sunday morning. Both teams played some superb rugby coming out on top in both games. This squad is training very hard and putting in great work every week. This squad has massive numbers and is blessed to be able to field two teams in the same weekend. Friday nights game was a real battle with Thurles going behind in the first 3rd by 21 points and turning it around in the next 2 3rds to win 36 - 21 in a very enjoyable game. On Sunday morning Thurles took on Clanwilliam in Tipp town in the league the boy put in a big shift with the forwards running hard and direct and the backs running and passing well and showing great power and pace taking a comfortable win against a young but game Clanwilliam side. A great weekend overall for this great young bunch.
