Thurles RFC Under 12 Centenary Tour to North Wales, 22-25 March 2024
After almost 12 months of planning, The Thurles RFC U11 & U12 Squads are embarking on a tour to the North Wales Rugby Festival on 22/03/2024 in Bethesda RFC.
31 Players along with Coaches, Parents and Mentors are looking forward representing their club as part of the Centenary celebrations in this, the 100th Year of Thurles RFC.
The youth structure in TRFC is currently experiencing a huge growth in numbers and has long been a vital part of the growth of Rugby in Thurles and surrounds.
At Thurles RFC, we cater for Boys and Girls of all ages and ability, from Under 6 right up to the 3 Senior Teams that we field week in, week out, in competitions across the province. Our Youth structure is a vital part of the Club’s success, and it is what makes taking part in events such as the North Wales Rugby Festival so important and will generate memories for this current crop of players, for many years to come.
The excitement is building with only days to go before the 95 strong, travelling party leave Thurles Rugby Club to catch the ferry, along with 24 other rugby clubs, to North Wales. Warm up games have also been scheduled for Saturday with the main competition taking place Sunday with a full day of rugby planned against teams from across Ireland, Wales, and England.
