With Clonakilty scoring first and both teams swapping the lead throughout the game it was highly entertaining rugby .

Clon were awarded a try at the death to level the score 22 all , with the conversion to come from their kicker it was very much in the lap of the gods for us , the conversion was off target this time and we survived to fight another day .

Travelling with only 10 it took a massive effort with all hands to the pump from the get go . Tries from Alannah , Gemma and Katie (2) , Eimer chipping in with a conversion and a player of the match performance from Katelyn . 

From a coaching point of view it was very pleasing to see these ladies roll up the sleeves and go to work for TRFC against these sticky opponents with only 1 score separating the sides in their previous 3 encounters .
