Thurles RFC extends deepest condolences to the family and friends of past player Michael Moran who passed away peacefully on Monday Morning.
Micheal travelled from Clonmel to play with Thurles in 1960 and played with the club until 1965
Michael played Scrum Half in the 1961 Garryowen Cup final and then in the 1963 Mansergh Cup final missing out on the 1962 Garryowen cup win due to injury . A formidable player in his day, and our sincere sympathies go to Michael’s wife Eileen, and their family, at this sad time. May He Rest in Peace
