U14 PAN MUNSTER CUP
THURLES V WATERFORD
For the second week in a row, the U14s played top opposition in the Munster Cup. Waterford came to Thurles and played with real intent from the get-go. The Waterford backline got going from the off and ran in 4 unanswered trys by the half. Thurles to their credit fought hard and got a few trys back in the second half with the standout a brace of trys from No.8 Charlie long and a first ever try for winger Tom Corcoran but Waterford pushed on and ran in a further 3 trys. In the forwards Cody Dooley and Mason Butler tried hard as did Charlie long and Daniel O'Grady when he was introduced in the backs Edward Bannon and James Maher ran well but Thurles were overpowered by a much bigger and faster Waterford team. Thurles play Garryowen next Sunday in Thurles in their last game in the Pan Munster Cup before theymove on to the East Munster Cup.
