Thurles got their Gleeson League hopes back on track on Saturday evening last in Fethard, after a poor game last week at home against Kilfeacle going down to a home 8:31 loss. Thurles were much stronger than their opponents but took a long time to assert their dominance, the pack were the platform of success and ground down the weaker Fethard pack with prop Jack Kavanagh getting over for the Thurles score in the first half, Fethard replied with a penalty to leave the half time score 5:3. Thurles asserted themselves in the second half with try’s from Sonny Dwyer and Conor Moloney who added to his try last week scored the final one.
